Soft

By Chloe Moon

Soft rolls appear

my hands brush over them

I do not recoil

In the bath, I would avert my eyes

to avoid staring at them

But now I hug myself

I hug the body I once hated

it's like forgiving your worst enemy

The is pain there

but now I can move forward

And learn to love

the body I once hated.
